it sounds ok but the C and Em dont sound right in either Tomlin's version or Camp's version

i think its C2 and Em7, they sound much better
jdmason02 - 2004-09-06
also, each D should be D/F#
JoBrad - 2004-09-08
The song should be as follows:
verse 1 C2
Em7
C2 D/F# G C

pre-chorus
Em7 G C
Em7 G C D

Chorus C Em
C D G
C Em
C D G

Verse 2 C2 Em7 C2 D

How do you play the Em7? is it 022030 or 022033?
BlackMage - 2005-02-12
you guys, i've played the songbook version of this song, its the exact same as the way this guy tabbed it. and on not to us, it sounds EXACTLY like this guy did. chillax guys, seriously.
jdb31 - 2005-02-13
how do you play a C2?
AlphaSigma - 2005-03-09
C2 is like a Cadd9 without the pinkey~~032030~~God Bless and Happy Rockin'--Pi][ar
ranbo888 - 2005-06-09
you should try and add slide up from a C to a "D Triad"(054030) then back down (i think that's what it is called) to the C during the second part of the chorus when he sings "with the strength of no other". i think that is how he does it on the album.

Guys there're some mistakes on the pre-chorus...
V1:
C2 Em7 C2 D/F# G
C2 Em7 C2 D/F#

Pre-Chorus:
Am7 D/B C
Am7 D/B C D/F#

Chorus:
C Em7 C D G
C Em7 C D G

V2:
C2 Em7 C2 D/F#

Pre-Chorus

Chorus

How do you play a D/F#? I can never remeber
bballben23 - 2006-06-05
(a d/f# is just a d with your thumb on the low e string) and also, does anyone know how to play the lead guitar part for this song? its a type of finger picking, during the chorus, on several different chords, but i dont know what the chords are... i would love to know!
