G D Em In the first verse
Try playing a G2/F# Make sure you play the F# as your base note instead of the D
G G2/F# Em
Same for 2nd Verse:
A E F#m sounds a bit off
try A A/G# F#m
hold the A but play a G# base note.
I would love to see what you think??

| BDMD - 2005-11-24 | This is a great song thanks for putting up the tabs. I have been working on it and I think I have figured out the bridge past. I think its A, E, F#, B.....A, E, B, F#... B, F#. Give that a try, if anybody can improve this please do. For once I am gonna try and play a song all the way through. LOL!!

| river_nymph7 - 2006-11-16 | Thanks, this was helpful, though I found a few parts that I thought were a bit off. In the chorus I thought it sounded better to drop the E in the first part where it goes A E F#m for "Sir I wanna buy these shoes, for my Mamma please", and just stay in A.
I tried the chords that someone submitted for the bridge but it did not work for me so this is what I figured out:
I knew I had (E) caught a glimpse of (B) Heavens love as he (A)thanked me and ran (E) out...I knew that (A) God had sent that (E) little boy to (F#) remind me what (G#m) Christmas is all (F#) about...
