Lyrics:
Wonderful, so wonderful

Is Your unfailing love

Your cross has spoken mercy over me

No eye has seen, no ear has heard

No heart could fully know

How glorious, how beautiful you are!

Beautiful One I love

Beautiful One I adore

Beautiful One my soul must sing

Powerful, so powerful

Your glory fills the skies

Your mighty works displayed for all to see

The beauty of Your majesty

Awakes my heart to sing

How marvellous, how wonderful You are

You opened my eyes to Your wonders anew

You captured my heart with this love

Because nothing on earth is as beautiful as You

My soul, my soul must sing

My soul, my soul must sing

My soul, my soul must sing

Beautiful One

The intro is much trickier to play than it sounds. The tabs posted here are close, but after many hours of listening and analysis, I think I've got it nailed. The key is to capo at the 7th fret. The following tab is relative to Capo at 7:

e----------------------------|-------------------------------
B---------0--------3--0------|------------------3--5---------
G------------0-----------0---|---------0--------------0------
D------2--------2------------|------4-----4------------------
A---3------------------------|---5-----------5---------------
E----------------------------|------------------------------- etc.

So you've got a Gmaj7 Gmaj9 to Aadd4 Aadd9 thing happening. Try it and see what you think.

Enjoy!

That looks great, but there's a little bit after that comes right after "The cross has spoken mercy over me"

e----------------------------|--------------------------
B---------0--------3---------|---3-------0------3--0----
G-------0----0--------0------|-----0-------0------------
D----2----------4-------4----|-------4-------4----------
A----------------------------|--------------------------
E----------------------------|--------------------------

Thx for the tabs. I found a great website. www.christian-lyrics.net
its just like this site, but only lyrics. the songs are even catagorized by album under the artist! Check it out.
tjlee87 - 2007-05-14
here is how i do intro
G A Bm A/C# G A D
E-------------------------------------5-5---3-----5-5-------0------
B-----3-------3-2-------3-3-2-----------------------------3---3----
G-------0-------------4-------2-----2---------0---------2----------
D-------------------4-------------2-------------------0----------0-
A---------0-------2-------------4---------------0------------------
E-3---------------------------------------3------------------------

and all you have to do after "..mercy over me" is hold on Bm chord on the 7th fret
(799777) and play
-----------7-----
-------7-----7---
-----7---7-----7-
---9-------------
-----------------
-7---------------

and all you have to on "..no heart could fully know" is hold on D chord and play
-2---0-------
---3---3---3-
---------2---
-------------
-------------
-------------

although they probably didnt play like this, but it seems alot easier when u make tabs based on chords
timmywasere - 2010-01-10
The intro for the Live in London version of this song goes like this;
G C* D E

In Higher octave power chord;

G= X,20,19,17,X,X
C*=X,14,13,11,X,X
D=X,15,14,12,X,X
E=X,17,16,14,X,X

(the star after the c -C*- Means C sharp)
