Song: Sky is Falling(acoustic)
Artist: Lifehouse
Copywrite: 2002 G-Chills/Song of Dreamworks (BMI)
Transcribed by : Adam McGuffie(Fuzz)

*dropped D tuning*

Chords used in Song:

  |DADGBe
G :x20033
Am:x02210
C :x30210
Em:x22000
D :000232(the extra strings are optional, you can play it "xx0232"

Almost all of the strokes in this song are downstrokes, when Jason plays
the chorus he'll some times thrown in a down-up-down stroke just to fill in
the rhythm. Listin to the cd to get the exact rhythm for the song..

Intro and Verse Tab:(i don't have the rythem put in here, only basic
positions and changes. So don't play the repeated ones as few a times as
i have written, i only did that to help some of the begining guitarists out.
I do sort of have it written, rythmically, how he plays it; give or take a
stroke or two.)

E|----------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------| Repeat as needed.
A|-7h9-9999-7h9--9--9--9--9---7h9-9-9-9-9-7p5-7-7-7-7p5-----|
D|-0---0000-10---10-10-10-10--9---9-9-9-9-0---0-0-0-0-------|

(one more thing to remember, the hammer on's really aren't really hammer
on's. You'll only do the motion for a hammer on, but because you're
strumming fast enough where you'll strum on the same beat that the hammer
on would be on. I only put them in there to kind of clarify. You could just
do the hammer on, but since you are only playing on two strings, you need
the beefiness of the extra string. Your call though.)

Verse 1: play the tab.

Chorus : G Am C Em C G Am D

         G Am C Em C G Am D

Verse 2:Play the tab.

Chorus again

Bridge: Am, Em, C, G x3 Then from "G" go "Am, D"

Chorus one last time, and end on on a down-up-down stroke on D.

Anyways, that's it you guys! Really not that hard of a song. The hardest
part is hitting that C with your pinky in the tab, but you'll get it after
a few tries. If your guitar isn't intonated correctly it'll sound terrible
because of how far up the neck you are playing on the bass strings. So if
it's not intonated correctly, just kinda compensate with the tuning a bit,
lower it just a tad more that drop D, maybe about another 1/4 step and
that should do it. Anyways, I hope ya'll have fun with this. God bless. -Adam
