This is just an addition to Josh's excellent job of figuring
out the chords. I've just added the solo to it. I have changed absolutly
none of Josh's chords because I can't hear anything wrong with them.
So anyways please e-mail and tell me what you think of the solo, whether
you think it's correct or you have some sugestions. I think it's really
close to the recording.

I Think this song uses a Capo on the second fret and is in standard tunning.
The begining chords are
Cadd9: x32033
A something: x02033
B something: x2x202
sorry i dont know the names of the chords but the chords are right, and the rest of the song should be easy to figure out

I agree with whoever put the prior comment. That's how matt ordeck of Jars of Clay does it in cncert

um...actually, the capo'd chords are like this

C A7(?) and the rest is just as josh put it.
e x x
a 3 0
d 2 2
g 0 2
b 0 0
e 3 3

do you think you could put the chords above the words? I'm fairly new to
guitar and I dont know how to read tab like this.. :(

If you could that would be great!

the chorus helps you practice 4-chord proggesions
at least I, as a new guitarist, think so

The song has Capo on the second fret then the chords are power chords playing C,A2,C,A2,C,A2,B C, A2,C,A2,C,A2,G,D (G and D play normal chords) for the verses while the chorus is normal standard chords with E,C,G,D. x3 A2, B7. The bridge is normal chords C, G,D,Em, D, C, A2 and it goes back the the chorus chords for the guitar solo. That sounds right to me but I haven't heard the song in a while .

accordng to their music book its kinda like this
Intro Dm7 Bm7
Dm7 Bm7
Dm7 Bm7 C something

the verse is the same except the second time around you use a and the e instead of the c chord and

Chorus F# D A E
F# D A Bm
F# D A E
and then the c chord
