I Need Words
David Crowder Band
Tune guitar to EAEEBe (tune G-string DOWN to E, not UP to E)
This is about 95% correct. There are a few things during the chorus
that I’m not sure if I made up, or just guessed, but it’s almost
perfect. Beautiful song, and fun to play. Enjoy!

| ldsmn87 - 2004-03-10 | This is one of the most powerful songs out today. I love that you took the time to figure it out.......just one thing, though.
The end of the intro and the end of the song go like this
e-----------------0-
B-------------0-----
E----------4--------
E------0h2------0---
A----2--------------
E--0----------------
other than that, I give it 5 stars! |
| goobernmeeps - 2004-12-10 | Try using a slide at the end of the first measure of the intro. i sounds much better.
Intro:
A/C# B/D# A
e -----------------------------------------
B ----------0---------0-----------------0--
E --------0---------0----------------------
E ------5---------7------------7/9--7------
A ----4---------6------------0--------------
E ------------------------------------------ 3X, then
And at the end of the intro try using this hammer-on. It's much easier to get to.
A/C# B/D# E
E -------------------------------------|
B ---------0---------0-----------------|
E -------0---------0-------------------|
E -----5---------7---------------------|
A ---4---------6---------7-7h9h11------|
E ----------------------0--------------|
|
| crowderboy540 - 2006-01-06 | i think the end of the verse sounds best if played like this
e -----------------0-----------
b -------------0---------------
g ---------------0-------------
d -----0h2/4-------------------
a ---2-------------------------
e -0---------------------------
otherwise this is exactly how i play it. great tab and great song |
