Faith
Words and Music by Denny Correll
on Standin' in the Light by Denny Correll
Copyright 1978 IAM Music
Dm7 Fm/D C Em
When the future starts to look a little grim
Am F
And you're weary cause your faith is wearing thin
Fm/D C Em F
And that ray of hope somehow just won't shine through
C G
Never giving up is all we have to do
(Chorus)
C Em Am
Cause faith can move the highest mountain
Am7/G F
Turn deserts into fountains
C G
And part the mighty waters of the deepest sea
C Em Am
Faith can make a broken heart mend
Am7/G F
Bring the rain from heaven
C G
Faith can even change the course of history
Dm7 Fm/D C Em
Trouble comes and you can't help but be afraid
Am F
But fear can only be the lack of having faith
Fm/D C Em F
Keep believing it won't get the best of you
C G
And disappointment will soon disappear from view
(Chorus twice)

| HawKNelsoNrules - 2006-06-05 | Just one question
How do you play Fm/d , and Am7/G ?
I've never heard of this song or artist, and was just looking for some songs to learn, and I found this one, and didn't know how to play those two chords.
Nice job, and thanks |
