Title: The Thirst is Taking Over
Artist: Skillet
Album: Alien Youth
Tabbed by: Slick (SlickZero@juno.com)
Tuning: Drop-D
I saw that there was another tab for this song, but I just saw skillet in
concert twice, and this is what Ben Kasica plays, so I know it's right (except
the second riff, which sounds right but I'm not sure). It's also easier to
tune to Drop-D then drop whole step.

| spazboy20180 - 2004-07-25 | | this song is great...it's one of my favorites on the cd. It's very well done, but i found 1 error in it. the main body part where u do 3 4 3 31 u play each one of the notes twice. it sounded to me the 2nd riff was right...nice job. |
| hiskey - 2004-12-06 | | the notes u have are wrong if u tuned to drop d..a little confusing at first glance but a good tab nevertheless. |
| kevin 987654321 - 2005-01-06 | like not E dude else sounds like crap

| Jdillia - 2005-10-03 | Gee kevin-

| Skilletfan424 - 2005-10-03 | | Dude the song sounds awesome, I agree with Jdillia! Keep up the good work yo |
| zero91 - 2006-05-26 | | i agree with spazboy20180, it sounds like you should hit the notes in the first verse twice. but other than that it sounds good. this is a great song, i'm so glad you tabbed it! good job! keep it up! |
| Dunk3k - 2006-09-08 | | ok, yeah playing the notes twice would work, but its done with a delay, so the notes repeat till they fade. so its kinda um...right...right? |
| DreamersImperia - 2007-08-17 | Couldn't you also play them like this with no delay? I do and it sounds alright to me:
1st riff:
E--------------------------------------------------
B--------4-4-------3-3-1-1-------4-4-------3-3-1-1-
G--------------------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------------------
A--3-3-3-----3-3-3---------3-3-3-----3-3-3---------
E--------------------------------------------------
2nd riff:
E--------------------------------
B--------------------------------
G--------------------------------
D---------5-5------5-5-----4-4---
A---------6-6------6-6-----5-5---
E---6-6-6------5-5-----4-4-------
though I'll admit I could be wrong since I don't know the first thing about tabbing songs :P But when I play it sounds good to me. |
