My Redeemer is Faithful and True
Steven Curtis Chapman &
James Isaac Elliott

D D/F# Gmaj7 D D/F# Gmaj7

D D/F# G6
As I look back on the road I've traveled
D D/F# G6 A
I see so many times He carried me through
                 A#7 Bm E/G#
If there's one thing that I've learned in my life,
             D/A A7sus A7 D
My Redeemer is faithful and true

Chorus
D/F# G A D
My Redeemer is faithful and true
D/F# Gmaj7 A Bm
Everything He has said He will do
D/A Gmaj7 A Bm Bm/A E/G#
And ev'ry morning His mercies are new
           Em7 A7 D D/F# Gmaj7
My Redeemer is faithful and true

My heart rejoices when I read the promise
There's a place I am preparing for you
I know someday I'll see my Lord face to face
'Cause my Redeemer is faithful and true

Chorus

Bridge
D/C# Bm F#m Gmaj7 D
And in ev'ry situation, He has proved His love for me
D/C# Bm Bm/A E Em7 Em7/A A
When I lack the understanding, He gives more grace to me

Chorus

Good basic chart! This song is full of "jazzy" chords with lots of 7ths and cool things, so I think a few clarifications would help:

D/F# is actually Dmaj7: xx0222 (same where says D/C#)
A#7 is actually F#7: 242322
D/A is actually Em7: 020000 (like in the chorus)
Bm/A is actually Bm7: 224232
F#m is actually F#m7: 242222 (in the bridge)
Em7/A is actually Asus: 002230 (end of bridge before resolving to A)

My voice is low so I also worked this up in the key of G and added a few more passing tones/7th chords to emphasize that feel. I can submit it if anyone's interested?
