Hanging by a Moment
Artist: Lifehouse
CD: No Name Face
Chords by Steve Cruickshank
(postlambjam@hotmail.com)
On the album version, Lifehouse has their guitars in drop-D tuning, and
tuned down half a step
(Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb).
They also have an acoustic version of this song, which is played half a step
higher (D A D G B E),
but both versions are based around the D-shaped chord (000232), so these
chords will work for either.

| 1wat2veritas - 2005-05-23 | | neither of those are right, i tried it with the music. |
| in2geezus - 2006-02-10 | | actually, it seems alright to me... perhaps your tuning is off, but if you play it to the song in drop D and DOWN A HALF STEP... it's in the right key and fairly easy to follow along with. |
| G(CA) - 2006-03-31 | I don't think the tuning in this tab is completely correct. A friend of mine loves this song and I have heard him playing along with the CD. His version sounds accurate (I have an extremely good ear for these things--1 1/2 years sound technician experience) but he only drops his low-E down to D, NOT Db, and all the other strings remain in standard tuning.

Also, if you sing along with the CD, the key is the same as a guitar in drop-d. |
