strum the first two chords, if you listen to the cd you will
figure out the strum pattern, its real simple

b--4---3-----------------6-4-6--4h6p-3-------3-4-6-4---
g--5---4-------------------------------5-4-5-----------
d--5---3-----------------------------------------------
a--3---5-----------------------------------------------
e--3---3-----------------------------------------------
three strums on first chord (down,up,down)
e------------------------------------------3-----------
b--4h6p-3----------------------------------3-----------
g---------5-4------------------------------4-----------
d-------------6-5-3------------------------5-----------
a-------------------6-5--5h6p---5\3--------5-----------
e-----------------------------8-----6-4-3--3-----------
G Cm7 G#
e--3---3---4
b--3---4---4
g--4---3---5
d--5---5---6
a--5---3---6
e--3---3---4
[Verse]
Cm7 G# G G Cm7
G Cm7 G Cm7 G Cm7 (2x)
[Chorus]
G Cm7 (4x)
after all that it just repeats itself with the acception of
a change here and there but they still use the same chords.
at the end when nick repeats the “tu le dirias” verse, if
you listen you can hear the flamenco in the back, all that
is is bits and pieces of the intro solo mixed up with a
couple of add ins. so just listen to the cd and dont worry
you will figure it out. God Bless
in His grip,
Jason
Comments about this tab
| teeter1122 - 2006-05-20 | on every tab of Montaña I found than no one posted the build up to the chorus with passing tones like Salvador does so here they are
Jumping from the verse to the Chorus there are PASSING TONES that are played
starting with Cm and ending with F
*Cm,Dm,D#,Em,F*
these are played on down beats with one strum per chord going up on the neck on the A string. Listen to the cd because it repeats everytime "Tu le derias a la montaña. . . " |
