| Mel Col - 2005-03-11 | It might just be my lack of understanding how chords are formed but what is Gadded5 ? - doesnt any major chord already have the 5th (d) in it? if it means leaving out the 3rd i dont know how to play it because it is not listed on the chord chart on this site . . . help - thankyou : )

| hendrix4000 - 2006-01-03 | | Gadd5 would make the highest note in the G chord a D instead of a G. Just move your finger to the next string on the same fret. Yes, G has an open D in it but adding this D makes it stand out more |
