Song: Superman
Album: Blindside
Artist: Blindside
Written by: Blindside
Tabbed by: Lance, Aaron and The Spidertone (Spidertone@aol.com)
This song has a really weird rhythm, my drummer friend says that it is
in 14/7 (but i think he just counts funny), so i didn't put the rhythms
in here, listen to the cd and you should be able to figure it out for
yourself.
intro and verse:
e:------------------------------------------------------------------
b:------------------------------------------------------------------
g:------------------------------------------------------------------
d:--------------------------5h6p5------7------------------------5*--
a:-----------------5--7--------------7--------------------5--7------
E:----0-0--0----------------------------------0-0--0----------------
*When the distortion comes on there is a slight hesitation before this
note is played.
then the chorus of sorts goes like this:
e:--------------------------------------------------------
b:--------------------------------------------------------
g:--------------------------------------------------------
d:---2---2-2---5---7--8---2---2-2--5---4---x-x------------
a:---2---2-2---5---7--8---2---2-2--5---4---x-x------------
E:---0---0-0---3---5--6---0---0-0--3---2---x-x------------
when it goes i'm no superman the guitar does this:
e:---------------------------------------
b:---------------------------------------
g:---------------------------------------
d:---2---2-2---5---7--8.....---10--8--7--
a:---2---2-2---5---7--8.....---10--8--7--
E:---0---0-0---3---5--6.....---8---6--5--
after the first time through the chorus play a couple harmonics on the
fifth fret, the play everything up to here, on the second time through
don't play the harmonics but go straight in to this:
e:--------------------------------------------------------------
b:--------------------------------------------------------------
g:--------------------------------------------------------------
d:----2-2--x---2---2-2---x--------------------------------------
a:----2-2--x---2---2-2---x--------------------------------------
E:----0-0--x---0---0-0---x--------------------------------------
play that acouple times then play this, at a little slower pace:
e:--------------------------------------------------------------
b:--------------------------------------------------------------
g:--------------------------------------------------------------
d:--2---2---3---------------------------------------------------
a:--2---2---3---------------------------------------------------
E:--0---0---1---------------------------------------------------
then play this a couple times:
e:--------------------------------------------------------------
b:--------------------------------------------------------------
g:----2--2------2--2--------------------------------------------
d:----2--2------2--2--------------------------------------------
a:----0--0------0--0--------------------------------------------
E:-----------0-----------0--------------------------------------
then play the next to last riff a couple times and end the song on an e.
there you have, blindside is awesome, but God is more so,
Walk on <>

Wow, that's really close. There's a bit that's off, but nothing that really makes that big of a difference. For instance, there's an extra Open E played in the intro/verse, so you play it open 4 times instead of 3. But that's just me being a loser and looking for the tiniest things.
Great job on the tab, it's one of my favorite older Blindside songs.

Nice job. I haven't played it to the CD much yet, but it's really close from what I can tell.
Keep groovin.
