Song: Light of the world
Album: The Fathers song
Artist: Matt Redman
(c) 2000- Survior records
I love this song, but I never considered doing it as worship till I heard
it done at Soul survivor 2000.
Now I totally love it and where I've done it as worship people have been
released into worship, so I guess I really love it now!
Here's the chords - I know there is a lot of piano, but if you do slow
downward strums on an acoustic in their place it sounds cool.

CAPO 4 (G)

Verse 1
 N/c D Em (let ring) D/F* G
O Jesus son of God , so full of grace and truth
                      D Em D G (Bass riff)
The Father's saving Word, so wonderful are you
Am7 G/B Caad9 Dsus2
The Angels longed to see, and prophets searched to find
Am7 G/B Caad9
The glory we have seen revealed

        C D Em D/F* G
You shone upon the earth, but who will under stand?
        Caad9 D Em D/F* G
You came unto Your own, but who will recog nise?
Am7 G/B Caad9 D
Your birth was prophesied, for You were the Messiah
Am7 G/B Caad9
Who came and walked upon the Earth
Am7 G/B Caad9 Dsus2 D
Your glory we have seen, the one and only King
Am7 G/B Caad9 cresc
And now You're living in our hearts

Verse 3 (chords as above)

In you all things were made and nothing without you

In heaven and on earth all things are held in you

And yet you became flesh, living as one of us

Under the shadow of the cross

Where, through the blood you shed, You have made peace again

Peace for a world that God so loves

Chorus
 C/G (with power!)
Light of the world Light of the world
  						G
Light of the world You shine upon us X4!

Am7 G/B Caad9
Under the shadow of the cross
Am7 G/B Caad9 D
Where, through the blood you shed, You have made peace again
Am7 G/B Caad9

Chorus repeat - well, quite a few times.

In it there is this sung, near to the end
Am7 G/B Caad9 D G
Light of the world, Light of the world Light of the world You shine upon us
