Name: Boy
By: Plankeye
CD: The Spark
Transcribed by Nicholas Rivera (Mex77@hotmail.com)

Chords:
A2 (x,0,2,2,0,0)
A9 (x,0,2,1,0,0)
A5 (5,7,7,x,x,x)
A* (5,7,6,x,x,x) <---actually A5(add4)
Bb5 (x,1,3,3,x,x)
C5 (x,3,5,5,x,x)
E (0,2,2,1,0,0)
F5 (1,3,3,x,x,x)
G5 (3,5,5,x,x,x)

intro (acoustic guitar)

The easiest way to play this is to hold the E major shape under the A2.
Almost like when you play Esus (0,2,2,2,0,0) then E (0,2,2,1,0,0) and
all you do is lift up one finger. The same is useful here.
          *----here you start strumming
e|--0--0--0---|
B|--0--0--0---|
G|--2--1--1---|
D|--2--2--2---|
A|--0--0--2---|
E|--0--0--0---|
   A2 A9 E

Verse:
(E A2 A9 E) x3
 A2 E

then:
A5 A* E

G|--------(1)--|
D|--7---6--2---|
A|--7---7--2---|
E|--5---5--0---|
    A5 A* E

()= sounds good but not necessary

Verse: (second part)
(E A5 A* E) x2
 A5

Chorus:
(G5 F5) x3
 F Bb C

Bridge (Guitar 2)
G|------5-3-7r5-5------7-5-9r7-7-|
D|----5--------------7-----------|
A|--3--------------5-------------|
E|-------------------------------|

Those big nasty chords that interrupt are C5's and G5's. I would give
timings but I'm too lazy and I have a cassette. Here's the order they
go:
C5 C5 G5 G5 C5 G5 C

Chorus

There you go! This is as accurate as I can get since I'm typing at the
library. If a chord is in the wrong place then mess around with the
timing. It's probably the right chord wrong time. God Bless.
