Amazing Grace
Written by John Newton
Tabbed by Ben Cole
This should be posted because it is a tab that is more than just the melody.

Notes:
1. The chords above the tab help with the fingering, so most of the time if
you just hold the chord that is above the tab, most of your fingers will
already be in place. Or, these chords work just fine if you just want to
strume the song.
2. This song is easiest for me to play with my thumb and index finger.
3. For those of you who don't know how to read tabs and all this just looks
like a bunch of random numbers, here's tabs made easy:
First of all, the six lines represent the six strings on a guitar. It is a
little different, though, because the top string on the tabs represents the
high e string (or bottom string) on the actual guitar. Second, the numbers
are read left to righ (just like English!), and whenever you see a number that
means pluck just that string that the number is on on whatever fret the number
is. There are just two other things to remember about the numbers on tabs.
When you see a zero, that means pluck the string open (or without holding it
down). Also when two or more numbers are in the same line (directly over
each other) that means to pluck all those strings at the same time. Yeah,
that's pretty much it. Oh, and don't like I tried at first, to use a pick with
tabs. It doesn't work so well. Just use mostly your thumb and index.
