To get to the tuning, you do the same as you would any other tuning. Drop C it then go down a half step. It might sound kind of muddy so I think they might use heavier guage strings maybe?

Cool tab. What do the p's, x's, & h's mean? I know p is pull off & h is hammer on, but what do they mean & how do I do them?

When you hammer-on, basically you tap the string on that particular fret and hold it down. It makes a note. A pull-off is the exact opposite. While holding a string down on a particular fret, simply pull off. A subtle note will ring out. The x's indicate a muting of that string. Simply rest your finger on the string and apply slight pressure. When you strike that string, it won't sound a note. However, it will make a "click" noise when you strum, but you generally won't hear it.
