Underdog

Intro: G B E C

(Bass only through this first part of the first verse)

C B E
I am so weak and I'm so tired
E
It's hard for me to
C B E
Find enough strength to feed the fire
E
To fuel my ego

(Guitar comes in picking)

C B E
And consequently all my pride
E
Has all but died which leaves me
C B G
Down on my knees back to the place I should have started from

Chorus
G B
Been beat up Been broken down
E C
No way but up when your face down on the ground
G B
I'm in last place if a place at all
E C
But there's hope for this underdog
G B E C
That's the way uh-huh we like it
G B E C
That's the way uh-huh we like it

Call me the underdog
G-F-E-D-CB-CB

Second half of the song is the same way!

in the chorus, change all E's to Em.

This tab is real good but don't use open chords w\ distortion.
Use Bar chords or powerchords, They sound best.

i agree w/ chronicles1289. you should change all the e's to em's. it's still a good tab.
danthesk8er - 2005-02-14
Pretty close, but you cannot forget the minors on the e's, all except the first e in the chorus should be changed to Em. Thx for the tab

That B in the chorus doesn't sound right
jamminbass99 - 2006-04-01
i think on that "call me the underdog" part it should be F# instead of F
noproblem1 - 2007-02-23
I think the B's should be a Bsus, or something like that. It makes it sound more like the recording then just a natural B. Still its a
good chord chart to look off of, just some little mistakes.
