i love this song!!! it has been considered to be my number one favorite song,
ever! sooo, because of that, it is my pleasure to give you this song fully and
correctly tabbed to the guitar of choice. (that probably sounded a little
cheesy, but oh well) now to the choice of music that the reader has chosen to
read to learn a great song. it's in standard tuning so it will be a lot easier
to play than to mess with your tuning. (e B G D A E)

intro 1
the intro is acoustic.
e|---------------------------------|-----------------------------|
B|---------------------------------|-----------------------------|
G|---------------7-7-7-7--3-3-3-3--|----------------8-8-8-8--3/5-|
D|-3-3-3--6-6-6--7-7-7-7--3-3-3-3--|--3-3-3--6-6-6--8-8-8-8--3/5-|
A|-3-3-3--6-6-6--5-5-5-5--1-1-1-1--|--3-3-3--6-6-6--6-6-6-6--1/3-|
E|-1-1-1--4-4-4--------------------|--1-1-1--4-4-4---------------|

i know it might sound weired, but if you'll listen to the song carefully
you'll notice the odd arrangement. that's probably the reason why they say
"hey Stous, take two!" because the player might have purpously messed up.
idk if you got that, but yea. anyways

after the acoustic intro. the second guitar goes heavy distortion.

intro 2
e|----------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------|
G|---------------7-8-7-8-7--3/5-----|
D|-3-3-3--6-6-6--8-8-8-8-8--3/5-----| 4X
A|-3-3-3--6-6-6--6-6-6-6-6--1/3-----|
E|-1-1-1--4-4-4---------------------|

verse
e|------------------------------------|

G|----------6-6-6-6--3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--|
D|-3-3-3-3--6-6-6-6--3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--| 8X (1st 4x = palm mute)
A|-3-3-3-3--4-4-4-4--1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1--| (2nd 4x = open hand)
E|-1-1-1-1----------------------------|

the chorus is similar to the intro.

chorus
e|--------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------|
G|---------------8-8-8-8-8--3/5---|
D|-3-3-3--6-6-6--8-8-8-8-8--3/5---| 4X
A|-3-3-3--6-6-6--6-6-6-6-6--1/3---|
E|-1-1-1--4-4-4-------------------|

the intro to the verse after the chorus is the same thing as the verse except
you hold the note after the 4th beat.

bridge
you slow pick on these power cords
F G# D# Bb
F G# D# Bb
F G# D# Bb
F G# D# Bb/C (when you slide the 'Bb' over to the 'C' you'll do a hard
strumm.

someone will keep playing the chorus while someone who is brave enough to
play the solo.

here's the solo. (and it's probably the closest version to being the actual
solo on the cd.

the soloing that you might hear on the CD you'll have to figure out because
it's
too complicated to hear just by listening to a standard CD. unless some of you
have a special computer data stuff that you can use to cut the sounds to
listen to it more clearly. all i know is that it's in around the B string on
the 15,17,18,20, and 22 fret.
(pushing up on the string of course)

otherwise that's it. have fun!
if you have any comments please leave them.

have fun, God bless, and,.......

ROCK THE ARTS!!! =)
