Actually, if more musicians would break the bondage of tabs and music and join the freedom of playing with charts the world would be a happier place. Well maybe not, but their would be less time dedicated to band rehearsal.

Our Worship band practices for about 30 mins before people arive and I can throw a brand new chart for a song they've never even heard before and we'll play it like we've played it together for years. If you can read know some chords, basic scales and how to count to 4 (and sometime 6) you can play anything from a chart. It's the only way to play IMHO :)
