The song's pretty easy, you just have to listen to the CD to get the strumming.
The songs starts with a piano, but I just lightly strum/pick the chords.
Let me know what y'all think.

| shadowofangels - 2006-05-03 | | Sorry guys...I think in the chorus at the end of each progression there should be an E instead of a D. |
| russjuice - 2006-05-23 | | All the places you have Em7 it should actually be Bm. At the end of the Verse it goes Bm E. The end of each chorus, like you said, is E. |
| russjuice - 2006-05-23 | Actually, now that i play it through a few times, the D should be a D2 (just let off the high e string).
and in the bridge, it should be A D Bm D A
Chorus D A B E
Verse A D A D
Bm E |

Chorus D2 A B E
Verse A D2 A D2
Bm E |
| LoverOfmySoul - 2006-05-29 | Couple I noticed after playing several times, made a differance for me was on the chorus and the bridge, on the chorus you guys have
D2 A Bm E
D2 A Bm E
I found on the 2nd part of the chorus rather then repeating, if you give it a F#m it adds a little more flavor
so... D2 A Bm E
D2 A F#m E
Same thing on the bridge rather then a ... A D Bm D A ... change the Bm to a F#m
so then it'd be ... A D F#m D A
I found its sounds a little more in tune with the song, try it out, and let me know what you think :-) |
| sstormfire - 2006-07-07 | Awesome song!! I think the bridge is A F#m D A
kinda like the original changing the Em to an F#m. |
| bx1336 - 2006-07-12 | Just to sum this up and put it all in one place, I believe with all the comments the song is played as follows:
Intro:
A D2 A D2
Verse 1:
A D2
I can count a million times, people asking me how I
A D2
can praise you, with all that I've gone through
A D2
The question just amazes me, could sircumstances possibly
A D2
change who I forever am in you?
A D2 A D2
A D2
Maybe since my life was changed, long before these rainy days
A D2
It's never really ever crossed my mind
A D2
To turn my back on you oh Lord, my only shelter from the storm
A D2
But instead, I draw closer through this time
Bm E
So I pray...
Chorus:
D A
Bring me joy, bring me peace, bring the chance to be free
F#m E
Bring me anything that brings you glory
D A
And I know there'll be days, when this life brings me pain
F#m E A Bm C#m D2
But if that's what it takes to praise you, Jesus bring the rain.
Verse 2:
A D2
I am your's regardless of, the clouds that may loom above
C#m D
because you are much greater than the pain.
A D2
You who made a way for me, suffering your destiny
C#m D
So tell me, what's a little rain?
Bm E
So I pray...
Chorus:
D A
Bring me joy, bring me peace, bring the chance to be free
F#m E
Bring me anything that brings you glory
D A
And I know there'll be days, when this life brings me pain
F#m E A D
But if that's what it takes to praise you, Jesus bring the rain.
Outro (Repeat to end):
A F#m
Holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy, holy
D A
Is the Lord God almighty. Is the Lord God almighty
I believe this is VERY close, I hope this helps. Enjoy the song! |
