Song: Judas Kiss
Band: Petra
Album: More Power To Ya (1982)
written by Bob Hartman
tabbed by YankBoy19888

This is the way Bob Hartman played it when I saw him during the Farewell
tour.

E|-----------------------------------------------|

This is John Lawry's keyboard part that he played here and there thoughout
the song. It's for the keyboard but it sounds sweet on the guitar.

Re the intro riff: this is a fairly advanced riff not for beginners (like me).
I bought the song from iTunes, converted it to MP3 and slowed it right down so I could hear everything that was going on in that intro riff... it's a pretty busy one!

One thing I picked up was the open G string being muted and picked on the off-beat and being used a bit more throughout the riff. From what I could work out, the first little bit of the opening riff goes like this:

e|-3-6p3-----3-------3--------3--------|
B|-3-----3-3---3h6-6---3------3--------|
G|-0----0--0-------0-----5p3--0--------|
D|---------------------------5---------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

Video from 1984 that gives an awesome shot of how he's playing it. I would assume it's true to the record since it's from the same time period. It's different than any of the tabs here so far. Starts in 3rd position, slides down to 1st, then up to 6th to end it. I might tab it out if I get time, but if someone beats me to it, great. I haven't exactly figured out the bottom part though.
