| trmcello24 - 2006-06-07 | | how in the world do you do that tuning. that is crazy. great tab. |
| urmomma - 2006-06-16 | | you can do this song in standard tuning dude... |
| T_Conticelli - 2006-07-08 | | Alright, first of all, there is no way this song is in that tuning. Truby only used two guitars when we went to see them live, and there is just no way. I understand there are several different ways to play songs, but this was one is crazy. And I really don't see how you can even get this tuning from listening to the song. But, I will say, awesome job. You are the only guy on here that puts a lot of time and effort, but that tuning has blown my mind. That's way to low to be playing this song. |
| T_Conticelli - 2006-07-08 | | Hey Adam, you know what. You are playing high on the frets, so, you are right. But, why play it this why? |
| tl_guitarnut - 2006-07-08 | | dude, i think it has to be this tuning, they use a low A not in the bridge |
| Adam K - 2006-07-11 | | "Mark My Words" is also in Drop A Tuning. But I didn't tab that song. So that could explain the other guitar. |
| tl_guitarnut - 2006-07-11 | | I heard they use a 7 string guitar on "Mark my Words" |
| T_Conticelli - 2006-07-12 | | Hey Adam, I'd really appreciate it if you'd tab out "Mark My Words" on here. It's an awesome song, and P.O.D. tore the house down when they did it live. |
| Adam K - 2006-07-16 | | Yeah a 7-string guitar makes more sense than Drop A tuning. Too bad I don't have a 7-string guitar :P |
| LC7rock - 2007-04-03 | | Dude I had almost nailed this song down on my own, but I seriously think it is in CGC or DAD tuning. I seriously think you are wrong on that tuning. |
| Peeps - 2007-04-11 | | everyone, adam is right about the drop A tuning, but try it on a seven-string, all you do is drop the top string, and everything else is ready to go...it HAS to have a low A...listen to the bridge of the song...i love it! it sounds like truby swaps guitars right before the heavy part of the breakdown, but yeah, the song has to be in a low A tuning....you can do it in standard, by playing the top two strings (low E and A) and match the rest of his tab with that, but you're not gonna get that deep heavy sound during the bridge without tuning down....if you would tune it that low, you could hear that it fits; don't just assume that it's too low.... |
| go4broke28 - 2008-10-18 | I don't know about that. I tried that drop d tuning with this song, and it was freakin beast. He played the song right, but I like it on a lower set of frets. D-2-0-2--2-0-2-5-0-2-0-2
A-2-0-2--2-0-2-5-0-2-0-2
D-2-0-2--2-0-2-5-0-2-0-2
Try this one. For the record, I tried this myself. I DID NOT COPY ANYONE'S TAB!! I saw someone else have this happen to them, so I wrote this one myself. Enjoy it.
