Blindside
Come to Rest
This is my first tab that I submit, so be easy on me. But this sounds very much
like the CD so here we go.
Tuning: Drop D
E]---------------------
B]---------------------
G]---------------------
D]2-3--12--9--15--14--7 x2
A]2-3--12--9--15--14--7
D]2-3--12--9--15--14--7
There is the intro, very simple. Havn't been able to figure out the rest...
Comments about this tab
| Dani_Boy - 2006-04-23 | This tab is very good in many aspects.
1. He covers every chord and they are all 100% right.
2. It's the first and only tab of Come To Rest so far.
3. It's very good even though it's his first tab. I started out with only an intro tab as well.
4. I know this guy!!! :)
5. It's understandable and easy to read.
There are two things I'd like to correct though. It's much easier to play if you use some chords on the A string. Like this:
G|--------7-------10---9------|
D|--2-3---7---9---10---9---7--|
A|--2-3---5---9---8----7---7--|
D|--2-3-------9------------7--|
Also, you maybe noticed that my rhythm was slightly different than his. But that's something you learn to hear when you've submitted lots of tabs.
All I can say now is it's a good tab worth a 5. Oh, and Tobbbe, I'll see you at the concert this friday, right? :) |
| Tobbbe - 2006-04-29 | Yeah thank you Dani=) I should have though of that, and I did, right after I tabbed it=P
Jupp ju saw me at the consert=P It was an awsome consert, I loved "TheEvangelinos" and "Audioholic"=D so far-out=D |
| akaukal - 2006-05-01 | | well i think i'll take a stab at this song. i think the "Solo" is just crazy picksliding that would be hard to replicate. |
| Dani_Boy - 2006-05-04 | The solo probably involves picksliding, but it's like a two guitar insane frenzy solo with a lot of speeded notes. In short, it seems freakin' hard. Eternal tabbers glory to anyone who can get a precise version of the solo.
PS. I liked the concert too, Tobbbe! I liked David Cummings the best. The fun thing is that hardly anybody else here at CGR knows what we're talking about! |
| akaukal - 2006-05-07 | | well i'll get my teacher to help me with this one. |
| blackedge45 - 2006-06-04 | the chorus is tremlo picking
i think its on the 4th string
D-------2-3-12-9-15-14-7 (remember all tremlo picking you can figure out how many times each
A
D |
| Dani_Boy - 2006-07-04 | | How do you do tremolo picking? |
