This is a great song if you play in a worship band. The bass is different
during the verse, so have your bassist figure it out or I might add it later.

Standard tuning EADGBE

Intro and verse(Clean/Acoustic)
Go between these two for most of it
------------
------------
--8-----9--
--9-----9--
--7-----7--
------------
Then down to this before the chorus
------
------
--6--
--7--
--5--
-----

Chorus(heavy distortion) just play the three bottom strings
E A E A

Then the bridge is like the chorus
B A B High E

Then the ending is
--------------------------
----------------------9---
------9---9-----------9---
----9---9---9-----9---9---
--7-------------6-----6---
--------------------------

Good Luck!

I think you meant to put this:

e --11-----
B ---------
G --8---9--
D --9---9--
A --7---7--
E ---------

And just move your pinky from e 11 to G 9 so everything else can sit tight...

When you say just play the three bottom strings, I'm guessing you talking about E, A, and D, right? Because that's what sounds more like the CD...

And I'm not sure about the very last part of the ending...but I've only tried it twice and don't wanna do it anymore ;) Sounds close enough though :)

Yeah, the E A and D. I wasn't sure about the ending either, but it's close enough for bedroom playing.

By "High E" do you mean?

e--
b--
g-9
d-9
a-7
E--
EpyonZERO - 2006-04-15
Yeah, that's a high e. You could also play with the suspension on that high e.
