| gemini050889 - 2005-10-09 | | if we were to put this on a capo...what would it be? |
| dobrijdjen - 2005-10-11 | | I think it's in B on the CD, and when I saw him in concert a year ago that's what it looked like too... |
| orbitcow - 2005-10-16 | | What are the words? I can't find them anywhere. |
| dobrijdjen - 2005-11-07 | | If you tune it to Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb like he said in the song, you would not use a capo, because the fingering that is normally "C" would really be "B." |
| coolpen - 2005-12-19 | | the capo form i have found out is on the fourth. i have figured out the lead in the beginning. the first chord david plays is a c. the chorus is em, and something else and then a c. the bridges are g, the g with an f# base, and then a c. i dont doubt that they play it in eb cuz thats the tuning they usually use. but i think the capo 4 is the right thing. |
| TShafer - 2006-02-17 | | fwiw...I wish someone had asked before submitting these chords as their own... |
| dobrijdjen - 2006-04-15 | Okay, let's clarify one thing:
If you are in Standard Tuning (EADGBe) you can put the capo on the fourth and play it in G, or put it on the second and play it in A. Or if you really want to make it authentic, you could tune the whole guitar down one half-step (the easiest way to do this is to put a capo on I and use a tuner) and use the C-fingering.
I posted my own version of the song (I think it's the only other "Rescue Is Coming" entry) and I think it's pretty accurate, plus I broke the tuning thing down...check it out.
