Title: King of Glory
Words by: Mac Powell
Group: Third Day
Tebbed By: Stephen Carter,
Last modified: Sept. 14, 2005

Explaination of my format:
I started out my musical career on drums, and I was fortunate to have an
excellent teacher, who taught me the basics of rythym, (especially in 4/4 time)
and he taught me to count 1 measure of music, and say it aloud literally,
like so: “one ‘e’ and a two ‘e’ and a three ‘e’ and a four ‘e’ and a.” ...and
that represents 1 bar of music. The numbers “1 2 3 4” in that are the 1/4
notes, the “and”’s and 1/8 nothes, and the ‘a’ and the ‘e’ are 16th notes.
I’ve combined this with the standard Tab notation, and added a time signature
at the beginning so that people like me who need the rythym can follow along.
THIS IS AN EXACT REPRESENTATION OF THE MUSIC! If I place a note above the “+”,
then it is on an eight note.

NOTE: What follows is the REAL intro. I looked on the ‘net in so many places,
but could not find a single accurate version of the intro. I found one version
that was close but it was Capo 2 in D... Here’s the real version, as played on
the CD, as close as I can hear it. I hope this is exact enough for y’all. ;)
(For the rest of the song, try the version by Ben Allen,
, which I myself use. It can be found at

Amazing job on the tab. As a fellow true musician who started out on drums, I say great job. I would have tabbed out my songs with rhythms, but I was too lazy to explain the rhythm.
