I met a young girl named Sally James, it’s all same these days
She struggles with the love of God, she thinks it’s not for her
I tell the girl named Sally James, “In Jesus’ name, we’re saved
In him we have redeeming grace, by his blood, always (Eph 1:7)” 

Chorus:
Listen to me child, I know you are not alone
It may take a while to see His face

I am asking you to please receive God’s grace

Verse 2:
I talk with her a couple days, and she says she prays
Waiting for a word from God, but she is not listening
(I said,) “If you want a word from God, the Word of God is there
Our soul redemption, no exception, by proclamation of faith (Acts 16:31)”

After what had seemed like years of fallen tears and prayers
Sally James is not same ‘cause now she came to God
Thanking God for what she’s got, and what she’s got is grace
No more tears, relax your fears for God is here – you’re saved!
