heys.. thanks for the effort put into posting these chords but i have a book with the full correct chords.. will put it up here soon =) Jesus loves you!!!

The chords in all those books are wrong. People often think that the artists themselves tabbed out those books, but that is not the case. They hire somebody (usually a piano player that knows not too much about guitars) to transpose it. This is the way SCC plays it in concert looking at the DVD's of him. All of his hit songs seem to be with these chords (ie. Much of You, Speechless, Live Out Loud) just with different tunings, whether it be a step down, or a half step up, etc. Oh yeah, you can't post things out of a book either (just like not being able to post lyrics on the website too). That is against the books copyright. It has to be your own interpretation with no help from books. That's what this site is about. Our interpretations of what we hear.

I've just seen SCC in concert (Brisbane, Australia)and it appears that the only string of his guitar that he tunes is the bottom E which he takes down to D. The rest stay with traditional guitar tuning. He actually played 3-4 songs in together after just tuning down the bottom string of the guitar with Speechless being one of them.
