I've seen a lot of posts of this song that use alternate tunings (open-C or open-D mostly). Actually, you could play this perfectly well without all that cheesy alt. tuning stuff. :-) Like this:

You can play it like that but I was tabbing it for how 12 Stones plays it and since everything else they play is downtuned, this one prob is too.
