one of the best songs on strong tower-
dropped d

intro:
E-------------------------------|
B----10>8-----------------------|
G----------7<9-----------9----5-|
D----------------10<12----------|

Verse:
D--0---5-------
A--0---5------- each chord x8
D--0---5-------

then after 3 times,

d---7----5----|
a---7----5----| each chord x8
d---7----5----|

chorus is same as the verse except u play the power chords x4,
instead of 8 and listen to the cd for rythm cuz u have to mute
it every now and then.

-god bless-

O.k. I'm a new guy to this but a friend was showing me how to make that thumping sound, which you may know how to do already ( Tuning low E down to D ).
but my question is: Are you sure this is the right key because if it is that "thump" must be a bass.
Just wondering. wanting to play this song for church.

" I wanna' be a rockstar..."

be a rockstar in concert, not for worship in church

I have the song book and this isn't right. infact the song is acctually really simple chords like G, D, and A major. I wish I could post is but it would violate copyright laws so I won't.

Guys, the song books do not put exactly what the band plays. they basically tell you the cords and lyrics. This one is way closer than the other post for this song. There is a little octave part that one of the guitars plays during the chorus, but this is close enough to get someone started.

This guy got a bum wrap for this tab. This is right, it is drop d.
The into stuff is more like:

|D|-7/5---------------------------------------------------------------------|
|A|-----7/9-5/7-9/5---------------------------------------------------------|
|D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|

But that is only what sounds good to me, it could be mutiple guitars mixing.
