im sry but the tab missin quite a bit of the song it has a lot more fun stuf in it. i played this with the song many times over and it sounds pretty much perfect.

drop D
intro:
C# or for people who don't know chords 4th fret bar chord on A string
slide on G string to 11th fret then 10th then go on like chorus but after each chord play the 11th fret and 10th.

verse:

bar 8th fret E A D strings slide to 6th fret same strings and 4th fret then back up 6th fret and then repeat

chorus:

4th fret on E string like before up to 8th fret same strings down to 4th fret and pinky on on G string 6 th fret and walk down with chords slide down 3rd fret and 1st
then G string 6th fret slide to 11 and then 10 repeat X3
repeat top part

bridge:
G string 12 fret and B string 13th does a quick lil dill there and then goes to 8th fret like before and pulls D string on 10th fret does it again but does 10th fret then 11th and back and repeat X4
"there you were....." that part starts and it does same as verse only faster and full strum

last chorus:
play it the same way only dont pause in the middle then he sings the first couple lines of the chorus and its just played the same way as the verse

Verse
Chorus
Verse
Chorus
Bridge
Chorus
1/2 Chorus

hopefully everybody can understand that but its pretty much perfect

I have a question. What style is kids in the way considered? I have their
CD and they have a unique style. Don't they call it emo or screamo or
something?
audioswitch04 - 2005-06-29
tbs at some points your "tab" is a bit confusing. You keep saying E though you mentioned drop d (i think it can work in standard but anyway)and im having a bit of trouble seeing how it works with the song. Not to be cynical or anything i'm just saying my thoughts.
tbsrox - 2005-07-12
Yeah sry bout that um when i say E it means the top E string even if it is in drop D i still consider the string to be E and its alot harder to play without drop D cuz on the verse when it's on the G 6 fret and loveSkillet yeah theyre a mix of emo, screamo, and punk
