Jeremy Camp

This song is pretty tight and the acoustic sounds really cool
so here are the acoustic chords

Capo 1

Chords Used(realitive to capo1) These Chords are different but they sound
awesome and it sounds almost exactly to what he plays on acoustic

  F D# C# C
E-10 -10- -10- -10-
B-10 -10- -10- -10-
G-0 -0 - -0 - -0-
D-0 -0 - -0 - -0-
A-7 -0 - -0 - -0-
E-0 -10- -8 - -7-

Verse:

F D#

Chorus:

F C# D#

Note: When playing the chorus chords when you hit the D# chord
Hammer from the C# to the D# , just the bass note on the E string,
listen to the cd and you will know what i mean.

C C# D# C C#

Hey guys,

There's a song on this CD that I would love to play

It's called "Lay Down My Pride"

I would be great if someone could figure this song out,

because i've tried (and failed).

When I play the first two strings on the 10th fret it sounds really bad, am I doing this right?
Kutless Fan - 2005-04-22
Mar, maybe it's because you're not playing the chords right. The F chord is played 133211, the D# chord 668886 or X65343, the C# chord 446664 or X43121, and the C chord X32010. Hope this helps.

Kutless Fan: wow, i never used to play F Like 133211, i used to play it x33211 and it sounds so much better now, thanks heaps, this has helped lots.

At the top of the page there is a chord chart with some wierd chords. When I use these or just normal chords it doesn't sound right. Maybe I'm just not good enought to play this yet.
emeryguitar - 2005-07-19
try capo 1 with those same chords, except raise each 7 to 8, each 9 to 10, and each 10 to 11...etc...leave the open like they are

Maybe somebody needs to just redo this song cuz 1: it doesnt have a good rating at all. and 2: nobody can decide what to play. Somebody just try again.

That's a good idea, I'm a newb, but I know how to play the song and I'll draw up a fancy new tab.

There we go, I got the strumming pattern and the chords ARE correct, nice work!
12thfret - 2006-08-09
the F u play is x-10-9-0-10-10 and the D# is 10-9-0-0-10-10 it sound alot better than wat u were playing.
Matt_Man - 2007-05-07
Hey, the F is actually an Em, so if you're having trouble playing that F, you can just play an Em e----3-and the one following is a D, e----2-- so that should
b----3- b-----3- be easier
g------ g----2--
d--2---
a--2---
E------
