Relient K- When I Go Down
Album- Mmhmm
*2nd Bridge-Acoustic Part*

Thought I would pitch in on the 2nd Bridge acoustic part, which seems to be
evading many of the tabbers. For those who don't know, the 2nd Bridge begins
at 3:22 and ends around 5:44.

Chord names:
--Em7--G---D---A---G---D---A-Asus4-A

e|-0---3---2---0---3---2---0---0---0
b|-3---3---3---2---3---3---2---3---2
g|-0---0---2---2---0---2---2---2---2
d|-2---0---0---2---0---0---2---2---2
a|-2---2---x---0---2---x---0---0---0
e|-x---3---x---x---3---x---x---x---x

Then it changes to:

---D---G-

e|-2---3-
b|-3---3-
g|-2---0- x4
d|-0---0-
a|-x---2-
e|-x---3-

When the christmasy-sounding shakers come in right after the 4th time of the
section above play:

--Em7--D---G---D-

e|-0---2---3---2-
b|-3---3---3---3-
g|-0---2---0---2- x14 (including the section where each chord is strummed once)
d|-2---0---0---0-
a|-2---x---2---x-
e|-x---x---3---x-

You may also want to try a simpler Em instead of the Em7, whichever tickles
your fancy better.

--Em-

e|-0-
b|-0-
g|-0-
d|-2-
a|-2-
e|-0-

After this it breaks down into the distorted power chords, which are correct in
other tabs on here. ENJOY!

Hey!
This song is awsome. I've figured out the harmonic part to play:

*Harmonics
E----------------------------------
B------*7-------------*7-----------
G--*5-----*7-------*5-----*7-------
D-----------*7------------*12------
A----------------------------------
E----------------------------------

Here's the harmonic part. You had it right
Except that it doesn't hit the d12 on every
other time.

B---7-----------7-----------7----------7--
G-5---7------5----7------5---7------5---7-
D-------7-----------12--------7-----------

I found the tab in the bridge where it starts "And the control I thought I had..." to go like this:

The bass string of each note is stricken 1 beat before the rest of the strings are played.

e: -0--0--3--3-3-0---3--3-3-3--0-0
B: -3--3--3--3-3-3---3--3-3-3--3-2
G: -0--2--0--0-0-2---0--0-0-0--2-2
D: -2--2--0--0-0-2---0--0-0-2--2-2
A: -2--0--2--2-x-0---2--2-x-2--0-0
E: -x--x--3--3-2-x---3--3-2-0--x-x

This is just my interpretation of it, you can accept it or deny it, but I would definitely put it into consideration.

Also, after it does the D G four times, and then starts the Christmasy bells, You have it as Em7-D-G2-D, but to me it sounds like it is a Bm-D-G2-D
---Bm---D--G2---D-
e: -2---2---3---2-
B: -3---3---3---3-
G: -4---2---0---2-
D: -4---0---0---0-
A: -2---x---2---x-
E: -2---x---3---x-

Not much of a difference, but it is a difference, and it is hard to tell with the singing going on what that first note is.

i agree with boredman, but i'd play the chords differently

during the christmas jingly part play Bm D G D but like this
Slide G up to D

---Bm---D--G2/D-
e: -2---x---x-x-
B: -3---x---x-x-
G: -4---7---4/11-
D: -4---7---5/12-
A: -2---5---5/12-
E: -x---x---3/10-
Cause I love you..
Oh God, I love you..
