Rest for the Weary - Cool Hand Luke

This is an amazing song and God has really given me peace by just trying to figure it out.
I hope this tab will be a blessing to someone out there. (Sorry I had a hard time figuring
out the name of that chord! and still haven't found it. I know the lead parts are almost totally
right but I am not sure about all the chords oh well. God bless

| Nath - 2005-01-08 | This is a pretty good tab, but there is a couple of things that seem to fit well.
That chord, the one you've named OC...
If you change it from e¦ 3 to e¦ 0 Them it becomes G/B, and fits in a
b¦ 3 b¦ 3
g¦ 0 g¦ 0
d¦ 0 d¦ 0
a¦ 2 a¦ 2
E¦ X E¦ X
little better, too.
Also, changing the chord order for the verse to Em7, G/B, C9 it seems to be a bit better.
Apart from that, it seems great!
P.S. Just to clarify, the solo is tabbed without the capo, so where it says 10th fret, it's 10th fret, not 15th, if you see what I mean. Really good tab, though! |
| Nath - 2005-01-08 | First correction seems to have mucked up!!! Lol!
The chord to change from is
e¦3
b¦3
g¦0
d¦0
a¦2
E¦X
And the chord to change to is
e¦0
b¦3
g¦0
d¦0
a¦2
E¦X |
| restfortheweary - 2005-01-08 | So the real solo with the capo on 5 would start at the 10th fret and not the 15th, and be played from there.
But the other picking mixed in with the chords is really just 3 frets away from the capo.
Sorry for the mix-up |
