Casting Crowns
Your Love is Extravagant

I've noticed a lot of people ask for the mandolin tab. I've played this with
the CD -- it's very close. I suggest using the Capo on the 2nd fret version
(D G2 Bm A2) The cords for the key of E are a bit tricky for the novice.

Here you go:

G - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - low string
D - - - - - 9 7 6 7 6 4 6 4 6 4 2 (or open with capo)
A 4 6 7 6 4 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - high string

This repeats throughout the song with several variations

Remember, this song is about the words! The timing is tricky, Jesus' timing
is always perfect!

Can anyone tell me what key this is in? Is it D?

This song is in the key of E. Like the guitar, the mandolin
is a C maj.instrument. Placing a mandolin (or banjo) capo
on the second fret changes the key of the instrument to D.
The chords are still in the key of E, but are "easier" to
play (take my word for it, a C#m7 is tough on an 8-stringer)
The "GuitarNoise" web site has a really useful capo chart
God Bless!

Actually, since the song is in the key of E, you don't need a capo for the mandolin. You can play the chords open. Here are the chords for other mando players:
string: G-A-D-E
E: 1-2-2-0
A2: 2-2-0-0
Bsus4 4-4-2-0
C#m7: 6-6-4-0
Also this tab was kinda confusing being turned upside down. Should have gone highest to lowest like a guitar tab.
