Song: Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape
Artist: Underoath
Tuning: Standard (EADGBe)

This one of my absolute favorote songs of all time. It is a VERY powerful
worship song, if you understand the lyrics. It really captures God's heart, and
thats what I love about it. But anyways, it took me a couple days to tab it out,
but I think most of it is pretty correct. The chords on the chorus where sorta
hard for me to hear, so thats the best I could do on that. It sounds pretty good
though if you ask me. Please post corrections!!

i think that in that hard part leading up to the "and Jesus, I'm ready to come home" part, i think guitar 2 is just doing this:

e-----------------------------------
b-----------------------------------
g--7-7-7-7-7-7--------777777777777
d--7-7-7-7-7-7 x4-----777777777777 x4
a--5-5-5-5-5-5--------555555555555
e--5-5-5-5-5-5--------555555555555

hopefully i'm right. i love this song and we had covered it at an open mic night in lakeland, but i don't remember exactly how we did this part, plus i played bass at the time, so. hopefully this will help. God bless.

this is a biznitching tab, song is good too, im just not 100% sure that underoath is christian though...this is the only song that sounds christian to me, but their all good anyways, later

This song is rad, thanks. And just to clear it up; underoath is definately christian- always were, always have been. This song is one source, also on "Cries of the Past" there are a lot of references to God: "I'll never forget the night Jesus Christ made the blackness white...", etc. You can find the rest on underoath's forums, I would have posted them but my computer's being stupid. Thanks :)

try this for the verses the harder part (strumming it of course)
e--0---0---0 e
b--0---0---0 b
g--7---7---7 then walk it back up g
d--7---7---0 d--4---4---9---7
a--5---5---5 a--5---5---9---7
E--7---5---3 E--2---3---7---5

For a future heads up Underoath uses alot of diminished chords just like Emery and Dead Poetic, but try this see what you think.

hey alota good corrections and i made one with the title "ACOUSTIC". So check it out and hit me back with some comments i guess or just e-mail me at lostitatchopsticks@hotmail.com. And for the record Underoath is Christian because i have a friend who watched them live when they played with Coheed and Kambriah and after Underoath finished the lead singer witnessed to everybody told them they were a christian band and the non-christians bood them off the stage. Well hit me back with some e-mail i would love to hear from yall.
GOD BLESS, Matt H.

someone needs to tab their "Acts of depresion" CD it's great!!!!!
Indiekid027 - 2010-04-29
Hey brazzle, i assure you that underoath is christian, go to one of their shows and you will know. They always start off by having the crowd join them in a prayer thanking God for the opportunity for everyone to come out, and that they have a chance to get His word out their through their music.
