what does the (11) mean?
Oh and they have a capo on the 4th fret - (but only live)
Waldrop_boy_53 - 2005-04-07
that (11) is a ghost note kinda thing..all it means is you bend the 9 till it sounds like its played on the 11th fret..thats all it means
arcteryx - 2005-05-25
Actually the 9 to (11) to (9) is a pinch harmonic. You play the string touching it slightly with the pick and slightly with your finger. It's pretty difficult. TD plays the pinch live, I don't think it's on the original wire cd.

at the beginging of the solo try playing
e-------------7-0----
b-7b-(7)-12-7--------
g--------------------
d--------------------
a--------------------
e--------------------
instead of
e[----------7--------
b[--------7---7------
g[--9b(11)-----------

I don't remember a solo. I probably need to listen again.
