After intense earplay and watching this video, this is what I have come up with.
This song is played with a capo on the second fret but chords are listed as if
played with no capo.

Very good job. Would you be able to possibly add the tabs for the chords you are playing? For example, I don't know what E/F means, and some others.

E/F IS AN E POWER CHORD SLID TO AN F POWER CHORD.

D 2 D 3
G - G 2

what are power chords?
thirdday123 - 2005-02-09
a power chord is sort of like a bar chord and it is used mainly in rock type songs
the_lithographe - 2005-04-13
The only difference between a barre chord and a power chord is the number of string played in the chord. The power chord consists of two or three strings (1st and 5th notes or 1st, 5th and 8th notes) depending on the guitarists preference. The power chord also has distortion to thicken the sound. A barre chord on the other hand is usually played clean or very faint distortion using five or six strings. Too much distortion on a barre chord sounds very muddy. I hope this helps.

Just out of curiosity, why was this song played with a capo on the video? I think D is a much easier key to play in than C. Was the capo on there for the prior song? I haven't seen the video, so I don't know.

The Capo Is Probably Esiest For Him To Sing In.

What I Meant Was The Key The Capo Puts The Song In, Makes It Esier For The Dude To Sing In.

Though I saw Third Day play this song at Spirit West Coast (Del Mar) last night, I was sitting on the 4th level of the grandstand and couldn't verify gender, let alone chord positions. Nevertheless, the barre or power chords in 'C' are probably better suited for the drive this song commands, though the acoustic guitar might accent or complement nicely using the 'D' voicings.

could someone please list the power chords in this song, i do not know how to play them, thanks
jlove2416 - 2006-04-13
jsoccer just curious on that c#5 how somebody could stretch their fingers from the ninth fret all the way to the first fret?? just wondering if that was a mistake cuz i really want to learn how to play the song..ok great job tabbin....

That's the eleventh fret genius!!!
gsusguitar - 2008-06-13
Yo, I have the DVD "Third Day: Wire Live" and this song they play with capo on the 2nd fret. Mac Powel and the Bassist does'nt have it capoed anywhere, though.
