the tab is perfect! the F#m7 might sound like an A major chord because F#m7 has F# A C# and E so the A major triad is in there! But it is definitely an F#m7 just go by the root of the chord the bass plays an F# and the F#m7 gives it a more disco/jazzy/latin feel specially the way the bass grooves thru the song!

It sounds like an F#m11 to me

Im sure the bridge starts with A to E/G# to F#m11 to A again except last time ends on E

Does anyone have the correct bass rythm for this song because I just can't get it to sound right and were playing this song saturday and I have no clue what the notes are in the rythm.

seems like a few people are a little cocky to me...

Thank you all for your contributions. OK, I have a good one. In "Friend of God" from "Live From Another Level," what happens about 2:09 into the song on the word "thinking?" I suspect it's a tritone substitution. Whatever it is, it's a great way to break up the pattern. Oh, and at 1:47 (what a), the chord is F#/E.
The guy's a blessed genius!
