| tribalwarrior85 - 2004-07-05 | actually, I belive the first note of the chorus is
C#-2-5-10-7--
G#-2-5-10-7--
C#-2-5-10-7-- |
| Adam K - 2004-08-22 | | Your right. My bad. |
| jsoccer - 2004-10-06 | | how do you do a drop c# tunning? |
| random-in-Deed1 - 2004-10-09 | | For drop C#, you tune your low E down a whole step (just like drop d), then tune down all strings down another half step. |
| newsboysrule - 2004-11-06 | | To me it sounds like the first part of the verse should be longer. |
| TFKfandude - 2004-12-22 | just curious, i just started learning guitar... how do you tune down a half and a whole step? could you just use a piano?
|
| rock4christ08 - 2005-01-04 | | this song is most definitely in C# tuning. listen to the song, that's all you have to do. |
| PacerX - 2005-01-23 | I wouldn't detune OR play it in standard tuning on a 6-string... a 7-string in standard tuning (low B) adds a whole new dimension of power to this song. It just thunders! You can catch the B chord at the lowest open position on a 7-string in standard tuning and make the rafters of your home/church/hovel/mansion shake!
Key is Eb minor, for the lead types out there. You can noodle nicely around on the song if you'd like... who said you had to play it note-for-note anyway? I think it needs a lead, so it's getting one! :o)
Then again... I think EVERYTHING needs a lead! |
| s.patrick - 2005-01-24 | how do you do drop c# tuning
|
| CZECHKNIGHT93 - 2005-03-08 | For Drop C# tuning, Tune the Low E string of open E tuning DOWN (loosen the string) to a C# (A whole step and a half. The steps go from E to Eb/D# to D to Db/C#, which is 3 half steps or a whole step and a half). Then you tune all other strings DOWN one half of a step. Therefore, you will have your strings tuned like this:
Open E-----tuned down to----Drop C#
E --> C#
A --> G#
D --> C#
G --> F#
B --> A#
e --> D#
I hope this clarifies the drop tuning. It was quite confusing to me at first. |
| chuckleyiv - 2005-05-02 | Great tab!
I think though that the first part of the verse should be like this:
D#[-------------------------------
A#[-------------------------------
F#[--9-9-9-9---12-12-12--11-11----
C#[--9-9-9-9---12-12-12--11-11---- x2
G#[--7-7-7-7---10-10-10---9--9----
C#[-------------------------------
Correct me if im wrong, or something! Thanks, and again, great tab! |
| Jimbo12 - 2005-05-18 | | How does what you have as the verse sound like the verse in the song????? It makes no sense to me.... |
| Crazy4Christ14 - 2005-07-21 | | Yeah, I have the same question. The verse doesn't sound like the song. Thanks! |
| mmggppmgp - 2005-07-31 | | dunno it sounds like the play octaves on the verses... and and the last chord of the intro |
| Kutlessfan501 - 2006-04-07 | Great tabs dude! Adam K Rules! (though I don't know who you are).
|
| mfarrell - 2006-06-23 | | do you have this in chord? |
| |)rink)v(tn|)ew - 2006-06-30 | PacerX, i dont think Kutless plays w/a seven string...but yeah if you have one, good idea
|
| guitarcordfreak - 2006-09-28 | one tiny correction on the chorus and verse. the very last chord I think is B

| the strat guy - 2006-12-06 | | I would just use the top two strings for the intro, chorus and, bridge. |
| Naragrath - 2006-12-18 | The verse is this:
F#-7-7-9-9-12-12/10-10
C#-x-x-x-x-x--x-/x--x Repeat Twice
G#-x-x-x-x-x--x-/x--x
C#-5-5-7-7-10-10/8--8
