Heaven Came Down

The song starts out like this...

CHORUS

   Em C D

--------------------0-------------0--------------------------------------
----2-------------2------------4-----------------------------------------
----2-----------3--------3 / 5-------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Play this riff twice, after the first line of the chorus. Remember Crowder
starts this song on the chorus 'Em' as shown above.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------...

...------7---9 / 12--9-----------------------5^7----5-----------5--4------0--
...---10-----------------------------------5------5--------7--5------5----2--
...---------------------------------------------------7--5----------------3--

When leading up to Verse 1, play the chorus riff above then this next tab which
takes you right to Verse 1's 'G'

-----------------------------12--11--9--------9---------------------------
------------7---9 / 12--9----------------12-------9---7---9---------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope it's right...

Well, when I decided to figure out the begining of this song, I thought I would check here first. But, after playing along with the song a few times, I found there are a few notes that need to be corrected. I am still figuring the rest out, but the begining rif goes something more like this:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------12-xxx-11-xx-------------------------------------------
--------9-10-s12-------------------------------------------------------------
-7-h10------------10-----------------10-h12---7--10--------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully I will post an update or new submission with the rest soon.

perhaps a useful comment - somehow Crowder is making a much more full sound. He may have it tuned differently, but he's surely playing a few strings sometimes while going over the riff

Yes absolutely, not only does Crowder fill in the music with open notes and such, there are 2 versions of this song. If you're playing along with the version from Illuminate, it won't make sense. This tab is modeled after the version on the Yellow and Lime CD's. I did the song for a special during our Easter production and totally made it my own adding riffs that were easier to play and extra accents

This isn't right either..but I'd just thought i give a little more "creativity" on this song.
