Ok everyone, I've scoured the internet for a good tab/chord version of this
song and everyone seems to have gotten it wrong, even www.worshiptogether.com.
Anyhow, this is how to play it "pretty close" to the recording, including
what I believe is the correct chords to some of those disonant sounding
chords.
By the way, I play it capo at the 1st fret, although I'm pretty sure Stu G
might be using an alternate tuning or a cut capo or something. Anyhow, I
gave up trying to figure that out and discovered you can get 95% there
with a capo+1
First, the chords:
Intro and verse go:
Am x02210
G2 3x0203
F 133211
Those weird chords halfway through the verse, and again at the end of the
verse are
Bm7 x2023
(see below for how to play this, including the bass line movement)
The chords to the "prechorus" are:
Am x02210
G/B x20033
C X32010
(repeat)
then right before the chorus there's a modulation between these 2 chords:
F 133211
F b5 133200
CHORUS:
C x32010
G 320033
Am x02210
F 133211
(repeat)
Now, for those of you who want tab:
intro/verse:
E------------------------------------------------------------------------
B--1--------1-------0--------0-------------------------------------------
G---------2----------------2---2------------2-2----2----------2-2----2---
D------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-----0-----------------------------------------3-----3------------3--3--
E-----------------------3--------------------------------1-1-------------
(Am) (G2) (F)
And that weird Bm chord:
E-------------------------------
B--(5)---3----------0-----------
G------------2-----------2------
D----------0---0------------0---
A---------------------2---------
E-------------------------------
(Bm/D) (Bm)
Hope that works for everyone! Email me at andyb@dulleschurch.org if you
have any q's or want to exchange ideas about how to play this great song.

| coach1r - 2004-05-22 | The intro and first part of verse is played with very light finger-play
on the guitar, where A (G string in 2nd) is used as a "theme" note
through
the whole thing. The Esus4 and C6 is the Em and C versions using the A.
I have used Em and C because this is better whith the melody when
playing
more full chords.

| itshutchy - 2005-05-02 | | i think the reason for the confusion about the tabbing of this song is there is two versions there is the original delerious one which most the tabs ive found are based on but then there is one on a heart of worship album which is slightly different. This tab seems to fit in with how it sounds on the heart of worship version. |
| cybergraeme - 2006-04-05 | Hi Andy
