Artist: Jars of Clay
Title: Lonely People
Album: Who We Are Instead
Lyrics and music: Dan and Catherine L. Peek
Re-arrangement by: Dan Haseltine, Matt Odmark, Stephen Mason, and
Charlie Lowell

This is a song originally written back in the 70’s, which if you’ve heard
the song really isn’t a surprise just by the sound and the chord structure.
The original group to record this was a group named America – the dude
wrote this somewhere around a month before he married his long-lost love.
It’s a great song of encouragement to all of us singles out there. This is
my first time to submit tabs to the site, but if you have any questions,
just e-mail strumminminister@yahoo.com – also, on CGR I’m known as SCCdcTFreak.

In Him,
† <>< Stephen

Verse

G Bm
G Bm D
C D G Em7
C D G

Chorus
G C C/B Am7
G C C/B Am7
G C C/B Am7 D G

The song goes: Verse 1, Verse 2, Chorus, Verse 1, Verse 2, and Chorus twice.
I believe, it does at least – I don’t quite have the cd in front of me right
now, but I’m pretty sure about it.

the original version is tabbed here some minor lyric changes are needed, but if you listen to the song you'll find that out soon enough. the best thing is that you have the lyrics to go with the chords :)
