Sunny Days
by Jars of Clay (Dan Haseltine, Charlie Lowell, Stephen Mason and Matthew Odmark)
from Who We Are Instead
chords figured out by Eddie Woo (eddie@cheerful.com)
© Essential Records, a divison of Brentwood Music, Inc.

INTRO & VERSE
G* – [D – G – C]** (x3)
Em7 – Cadd9

* A G9 also sounds pretty good here.

** Listen to the CD - here those three little chords that play at the end of
each line in the verse? They're a D, a G and a C. Practise moving between
these chords smoothly and then paly them really quickly to match the song.

CHORUS & BRIDGE
D/F# – Em7 – C+G*** (x3)
D/F# – Em7 – Cadd9 – G9

*** A regular C-chord fits here too, but I play it with my pinky finger on
fret 3 of the high E-string, adding a ringing G. I think it sounds better
here, but feel free to use the regular C or a C/G.

INSTRUMENTAL
C/G – D/F# – Cadd9 (...)

Could someone please tab out these chords, I think that I know most of em, but what is C+G?
BlackAttack1287 - 2005-08-23
Sorry, my bad, I meant C/G.
Setekh - 2005-12-26
C/G (read: "C with a G bass") is just a regular C-chord with the low E string held at the 3rd fret (i.e. the G bass note). So the fingering will be like this: 332010 (instead of the regular x32010).
