Try adding an extra finger to the 8 and 5 on the chorus.

Just to let everyone know I talk to Skillet in general but more so Ben Kasica all the time ... we keep in touch through email ... but anyways .. Ben wants me to tell everyone a little secret ... he plays C on the album but live he drops in down to B ... so it sounds even better live ... and this is one of the best song on the album .. questions/comments/critique .. email me at ricerocketplaya@hotmail.com

Just a little note, It's not genreally called Dropped C#, It's called Dropped Db ya know since C#=Db.
guitarfreaker - 2005-04-06
It can be called either drop C# or drop db. It works either way give the guy a break.
JohnM - 2005-04-09
Yeah, it can. Drop Db is a little more appropriate, because it's a combination of Flat (half step down) and Drop-D, hence Drop Db ("Drop D, flat").

Also: "(probably the coolest part in the song)" got that right. i love the bridge part..
sXcountry - 2005-07-17
i like to make the 10 and 9 in the intro octaves:
G|--10-----9
D|--x--and-x
A|--8------7
i think it sounds cooler, more tone
sweet, though, i like it better than the other one...
