Shout To The Lord
Darlene Zschech
A truly annointed song - this version includes the bass notes where they differ
from the chord and which add to the texture and impact of the music.
Intro: A E (repeat)
Verse: A E F#m E D
A/C# D A/E F#m G D/F# Esus4
A E/G# F#m E D
A/C# D A/E F#m G D/F# Esus4
Chorus:A F#m D E
A F#m D E
F#m D E F#m E/G#
A F#m D E
A F#m D E
F#m D E A
That's it.

| Miko - 2004-03-30 | The thing that's confusing me is in the second line of each verse, it seems like there's too many chords for the words. I'm confused :(
What I like about that tab is that the chords are simple enough to remember. We can play it together in my youth group, even though we're not a bunch of professional guitar playres. Keep the good work!! |
| John Bryson - 2004-05-08 | The second line of each verse goes like this
D A/C# D A/E F#m G D/F# Esus4
All of my days I want to praise the wonders of your mighty love
Hope this helps

| John Bryson - 2004-05-08 | Sorry the last comment did not come out correctly - the A/C# is on "days" then back to D for "I" then A/E for "praise" and then F#m for "wonders"
This should be more helpful

| whyette_h - 2004-06-20 | | Could you maybe insert the words under the chords? And maybe a suggested strumming pattern as well? |
| John Bryson - 2004-07-02 | Try this:
D A/C# D A/E F#m G D/F# E
All of my days I want to praise the wonders of your mighty love
Hope this helps

| John Bryson - 2004-07-02 | Sorry - I put the chords over the words but when I submit the message it just runs all the chords together - that is what happened the first time - if you can give me a email address I will email it to you.

| Brendini - 2004-07-29 | | Halfway through the second chorus the key changes- the A changes to a B, but that's all I can figure out. Does anyone know the key change chords? |
| Jasmine Chew - 2004-09-06 | | then can anyone suggest an appropriate strumming pattern?? thx. |
| jsoccer - 2004-10-10 | Brendini and Jasmine Chew, the key change is Bb not B. the chords are
Bb instead of A,Gm instead of F#M, Eb instead of D, and F instead of E. so it goes like this.
Bb Gm Eb F Bb Gm Eb
I sing for joy at the works of your hands, forever I'll love you for ever I'll
F Gm Eb F Bb
stand, nothing compares to the promise I have in you. |
| jsoccer - 2004-10-10 | | ohh ya, the struming is a is kinda like 4 strums per chord. :) |
| jsoccer - 2004-10-10 | On the first jsoccer thing only pay attentoin to the top part
|
| jsoccer - 2004-10-10 | Brendini and Jasmine Chew, the key change is Bb not B. the chords are
Bb instead of A,Gm instead of F#M, Eb instead of D, and F instead of E. |
| music7x3 - 2004-12-31 | | Yes you do have some chords wrong, but an great effort. Stop being lazy and put the lyrics with the chords! |
| playinfortheone - 2005-02-06 | | There is a reason people don't put the words with the chords. Due to copyright laws, placing the words along with the chords serves as a substitute for the songbooks that the artists sell. Though it seems like they are being lazy, there is a reason behind it. |
| John Bryson - 2005-05-27 | Here is another go at explaining the tricky bit - "all of my" is D then on "days" go to A/C# then straight back to D for "I want to" and to A/E for "praise the" then to F#m "wonders of your" then G & D/F# for "mighty" and "E" for "love".
Try it - it is 100% correct - I am sure because have been playing it ever since it first came out many years ago - I don't know about the key change - have not heard that version but it would be easy enough to take it up a semitone or a whole tone.If you can tell me where the key change comes in I could write it up.
Blessings - John B

| Sunkist - 2005-05-30 | | In the version with the key change, it goes from A to B in the middle of the second chorus, like this: "[KEY OF A]...At the sound of your name" [UP TO B] "I sing for joy..." / |
| jobananas - 2005-07-14 | for 'mighty love' and 'worship you', it should be
G Bm Esus4
migh---ty love
=) |
| John Bryson - 2005-07-17 | The Key Change - The chorus goes up a key so it will be:
B G#m E F#sus4 and so on. |
| Nciholas2 - 2005-12-05 | | music7x3, this the third time ive seen a comment like, and every time they tell you that it's againts the law to put the lyrics with the chords. So if you are telling other to break the law. If you were a good Christian you wouldn't do that, right? Remember, wat would Jesus do? |
| bri28 - 2006-01-02 | play it in capo 4 starting in G. D. Em, D, & C... is so much pee easier!! and sounds far more correct... never trust music from the official book! half of nirvana's nevermind is incorrect from the tab books
