the numbers represent the fret that you're finger goes on ... and the 'm' means to mute that string ... sooooo the fret number for goes with the string like this:

9m9900 = EADGBe

maybe that helped?

If I'm understanding your "needed" chords correctly then you've actually posted an Eno3 chord as open E then 5th fret then 7th fret then 7th fret, which is actually a "d" chord with an E base note. Maybe try 079900 for the "e" chord and alternate that with a 079800 pattern to get the intro to the song. If that was what you were going for. For chords that I think are pretty accurate (I wouldn't reccomend the other material on the site) go here: http://www.azchords.com/j/jarsofclay-tabs-1981/ineedyou-tabs-143934.html

Dude you are totally right....the A's are off too!! Sorry guys. Eno3 = 079900
A2 = x09900 and the variations are both based on those root chords. Thanks for correcting me! ~Johnny B

Ooops, ignore what I just said. The A's are fine the way they are, just change the Eno3. haha.
