                          Adoration: The Worship Album

                                     Newsboys
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided to collect, improve, and share these songs because the Newsboys are
awesome, and this album is all about worship. These songs are more than just
the music; it's about praise and our thanks going back to God.

Listen to the CD to get a feel for the rythym. I've played through each of
these songs, so I know they are at least close. I'm sure a few are 100%
correct because I've seen them play these songs in concert.

Hey, this is a great chord tab, but what about intro/outro tabs and solos?
Besides that, good job!
Grimertop - 2004-11-10
In case anyone sees this, I have just submitted a tab on the intro, so nevermind.

on it is you the intro is: Em C2 D Em that last Em is on the last word of each line of the verse but good job man thats really good. well at least as far as i can tell it is.
Nikseroni - 2005-03-05
Hey geniuses,

If ya'll would just look in the lyric book (you know, that little square booklet on the front of the CD, that comes with EVERY CD) you would see that the Newsboys took the time to write out the chords for just about every song. So, stop fighting about what key a song is in, or if it's a C instead of a C2, and just look it up yourself. Like I said, if you have bought the CD, then just look in the lyric book that it comes with.

In He Reigns, the 3rd verse actually changes chord progression....
it's C F G
and then back to the F C G for the chorus...
Hey thanks for putting this up!

re: nickseroni's comment..
haa haa...the inside notes are so "grafitti" that I didn't even notice the charts! BUT the really funny..as in NOT ha ha..is that the song I was after..
It is You..is the only one WITHOUT a chart! sigh..
I had started charting it myself..and ended up with the same progressions shown above..

i could correct all of this cuz i have the official songbook, but that would be illegal :p
breakfastboy - 2005-12-06
on he reigns only the F is barred.
Grimertop - 2006-02-10
actually, breakfastbpy, if you play the barre chords correctly, it honestly doesn't matter which way you play it, because it will sound the same either way. some people may find it easier to switch between barre chords than to switch between a barre chord and 2 open chords. not to be critical or anything, just pointing it out.

also, as a side note, i saw them play this in concert, and they do play it with barre chords the whole time.

God Bless all!
