| RussellKinney - 2004-02-28 | | Start with a D then it has G C D for most of the verse and adds Em7 at the end of the verse; but it is not just GCD it changes around and goes GCDCDGCDCDGCDGCDGCDCDGDCEm7D, so you just have to listen close. The keyboard solo goes D Am C G D Am C D and then the whole song changes key to E and uses E A D and adds F#m7 toward the end of the song. Just play along with the CD enogh and you will get it. |
| heidi_m - 2005-03-06 | | Great job on the tab, but do you know the tab for the Rita Springer version? I think the chord progression is G D A almost throughout the entire verse, but I'm not too sure. Help! |
| Psalm180 - 2005-09-13 | The first verse goes:
D, A, G, A, D x2
G, A, G, A
D, A, G, A, D
This is a little easier to play |
| SweetSong4Jesus - 2005-09-16 | | I have played along with the song ever since I got the cd (piano and guitar), and I am sure that it's GDC all through, except I think RussellKinney may be right about the Am in there during the piano solo. I am not sure about the Em7 (I can't make it sound right anywhere). I am also trying to get the piano solo to sound right,I am pretty sure about the chords, but I have to get the timing and the exact notes right on the other part. Also, I can't seem to be able to play it to the drum beat our band uses for the rest of the song, because it's a 3-time beat. |
| JjamieE - 2006-06-07 | | hey,i have been trying to work out how to play this song as well, ive got the piano melody for the intro and im tryin to write the music etc but cant work out the time sugnature,to me it doesnt seem like a 3/4 beat,im contemplating a 6/4 beat if thats possible?comments much appreciated |
| derek77 - 2006-07-16 | As far as the piano solo/transition between verses goes, I played along with the CD and it uses
D G Am C F G (X2)
The last transition into the key change goes:
D G Am C F G
D G Am C F E
Then key of A!
I like your chord progression best, thanks! |
